When you begin therapy with us, the first few sessions will focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and discussing your goals for therapy. These initial sessions allow us to create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
Your privacy is our top priority. All information shared during your sessions is kept strictly confidential in accordance with professional ethical guidelines and legal requirements. We will discuss any exceptions to confidentiality with you, such as in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.
Scheduling: Sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly basis, but this can be adjusted according to your needs and treatment plan. To schedule an appointment, please contact our office by phone or through our online booking system.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hour business day notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hour business day notice may incur a cancellation fee.
Session Length: Standard therapy sessions last approximately 50 minutes, unless otherwise agreed upon with your therapist.
Session Fees: The cost of therapy varies depending on the type of service and the therapist you see. Please contact our office for specific fee information.
Payment Methods: We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards, and electronic payments. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

Before your first session, you will need to complete some initial paperwork. These forms help us understand your background and current concerns. You can download and complete these forms before your first appointment to save time.
Client Intake Form: Provides basic information about you and your reasons for seeking therapy.
Referral Form: Therapy Initial Referral intake form.
Consent for Treatment: Outlines the nature of therapy, including risks and benefits, and confirms your consent to participate.
Consent for Telehealth treatment: Outlines the nature of Telehealth therapy, including risks and benefits, and confirms your consent to participate.
In case of a mental health emergency outside of session hours, please call 000 or visit your nearest emergency room. For urgent but non-life-threatening issues, you may contact us during business hours, and we will do our best to provide guidance or arrange a timely appointment.
You may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan and a Medicare rebate for psychological services. To claim this rebate, you must have a valid referral from your GP under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
